10 Simple Habits to Live a Happy Life




Are you unsure how to live a happy and fulfilled? 



The following simple habits will help you live a happy life. Each of these is based on the core elements of happiness.





1 Prioritize Your Goals and Dreams

Don?t put what you want to do in life off until tomorrow that might not come. Get started pursuing those goals today. Put them first on your list of priorities.




2 Connect with Friends and Family

Positive relationships are are a must to be happy. Take time every day to connect with someone important to you. Even a quick ?Hi -How are you?? message will help maintain the connection. Schedule time in your schedule if needed.




3.) Get Enough Sleep

Sleeping is one of the most underrated components of happiness. Make sure you get enough of it, and everything will be better!




4.) Journal/Keep Gratitude List

Writing down your thoughts and feelings will help you process them and connect you to your deepest self. Practicing Gratitude will elevate your mood and improve your overall health.  




5.) Volunteer

Helping others through volunteer work is another underrated habit that will make you happier and more fulfilled. Try to volunteer once a month. You can volunteer anywhere, from your church, soup kitchen, to your local humane society.



6.) Make Time for Your Hobbies

Hobbies are important to fulfillment. Schedule time for your hobbies. Don?t put them off as ?unimportant.? They are anything but and you shouldn?t write them off.



7.) Get Outside

Being in nature helps boost your mood and makes you more content with life. Try to get outside for 10-15 minutes a day. You can take a walk or just sit on a bench. The important thing is that you?re outside! The outside light helps your circadian rhythm.



8.) Eat Well

How you fuel your body in large part determines your mood. Eat well and you?ll feel better. Did you know sugar can make you tired?



9.) Laugh

Laughter relieves stress and makes you feel good. Seek out comedy or jokes you like to get a regular dose of this natural medicine. Keep company with people that are positive and can make you laugh.



10.) Exercise

Caring for your body will make you more fulfilled. You don?t need to spend hours at the gym; a 30-minute walk three times a week is enough to make you happier.
